Am I a whistleblower?
In order to be considered a whistleblower under the Whistleblower Protection Act and for our office to deal with your notification, you must
meet three basic conditions.
I want to make a report
If, in the course of your work, you have encountered illegal activity that threatens the public interest, you can report it to us. We deal with both criminal offences and administrative offences that affect a larger group of people.
I'm facing retaliation
Our office's primary mission is to protect whistleblowers who bring violations of the law to our attention at work. We can protect you from employer retaliation for whistleblowing both preemptively and after the fact, if it has already occurred.
