Whistleblower Protection Act
The whistleblower protection agenda in Slovakia and the competences of the Whistleblower Protection Office are regulated in Act No. 54/2019 Coll. on the Protection of Whistleblowers of Anti-Social Activities and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts.

Methodological guidelines and manuals
One of the activities of the Authority under the Act is to issue methodological guidance on whistleblower protection matters. It publishes them on an ongoing basis on the basis of the most frequent questions on the interpretation of the Act and its own practice.
Data and analysis
The Office's Analytical Unit is key to making informed and data-driven decisions by the Office's management. In particular, it plays important roles in mapping the environment, conducting opinion polls, collecting data and analysing it. The Analytical Unit is also part of the State's network of analytical units from April 2022.
Decisions of the WPO
The Office is guided by the principle of confidentiality when dealing with individual cases of anti-social activity. The protection of whistleblowers and their personal data is a top priority, and we will therefore only publish selected final decisions that do not jeopardise the effective protection of the whistleblower and where there is no risk of the whistleblower being identified in the context of informing the public about the Office's activities.
